Okay, so it's been a while

As time often does, it goes by quick! I've been busy getting my house ready for our company we have coming over Thanksgiving. Matt's brother and family are flying up from Texas and will be meeting the baby for the first time! I'm so excited for the baby to finally meet his cousin!

Besides that going on we're getting ready for Matthew's Christening on the 16th.

To make up for it I have a lot of pictures and some video to share!

This was last night. He started scratching at his bassinette and it took me a while to figure out what the noise was. Imagine hearing it for the first time at 2 in the morning!

He is my one and only. We met in April of 1999, moved in together in May of 1999 and got engaged in July of 1999. Eh, it was quick but we're ten years strong so it must have been right! He's my rock and life just wouldn't be half as fun without him. He's a proud PSU grad and a huge fan of Pittsburgh sports, well except the Pirates...but really who is? He works hard so I can stay home and take care of Matthew and I am eternally grateful for that experience. And I don't think he complains much either since I even pack his lunch.

No DNA test needed here! This kid looks just like his dad. Which kind of isn't fair since I did all the work. He has been the light in our lives since the early morning hours of July 9th, 2008. I love chronicling his life in this way and reading back over all the little experiences that add up to one big adventure! His current loves are cookie monster, his stinky puppy and when mommy plays "this little piggy" with his toes. He will stop what he's doing when he hears the lottery start on tv at night and wants to be friends with the two kitties that live here too so badly that he can hardly stand it. They, however, do not feel the same way.
